license-problem-font-adobe-copyrighted-fragment is amongst your package's lintian errors. The package's copyright file does not information about the Adobe-copyrighted part of the T1 fonts. Please add the Apache-2.0 license which applies because those font parts were relicensed and are available under that license now. More info in the links provided by the lintian error.
Thanks, Bastian! I'll have a look at it this weekend and release a new version. Cheers, Danai

accordingly to include the Apache-2.0 attribution for the fragments. I'll see if I also need to add a lintian-overrides file. Cheers, Danai On Thu, 30 Jul 2026 at 16:03, Danai SAE-HAN (韓達耐) <danai.saehan@gmail.com> wrote:

Hello Danai, I had to do the same for tex-gyre; IIRC there was no lintian override needed. Hilmar 03.08.2026 02:03:25 Danai SAE-HAN (韓達耐) <danai.saehan@gmail.com>:
Howdy, Thanks, I had a look at tex-gyre (20180621-8) and the changes in debian/copyright; very insightful. BTW, I forgot I was trying to fix my race condition a while ago; that is still lingering. Anyway, I'll upload a fix tonight and merge with the latest on Salsa. Cheers, Danai
Hi Bastian, Hilmar, On a closer notice, the Type1 fonts are generated (by a Fontforge script) from the Arphic TrueType Font files that are under the Arphic licence. I think we have a chicken and egg situation here: the Type1 fonts in Arphic are generated so they do not appear in the source tarball, but Lintian checks for the binary packages will notice these fonts. I don't think I can add a separate "Files" block for all the generated .pfb files as they do not appear in the original source tarball. The correct way IMO is to simply ignore this particular Lintian check (as already done by Hilmar previously) and add an extra comment in debian/ copyright.in (which will resolve into debian/copyright). For the full fix, I have created a new branch in the source: https://salsa.debian.org/tex-team/latex-cjk-chinese-arphic/-/tree/fix_1143079?ref_type=heads The next upload will close this bug.
