On a Framework 12 laptop running Debian Forky, I have a 100% reproducible crash
every time I try to paint on a canvas in Krita (specific reproduction steps
later). This makes the program completely unusable.

I assume this is not happening for everyone! So this may be a forky
problem rather
than a Krita problem, but I'm not seeing similar issues in any other
program. The
same laptop worked perfectly with Krita 5.2.9 on trixie, but on Forky
I can reproduce
this bug with:

 - Krita 1:5.3.2+dfsg-2 running on Gnome+Wayland
 - Krita 1:5.3.3+dfsg-1 running on Gnome+Wayland
 - Upstream's AppImage of Krita 5.3.3 running on Gnome+Wayland
 - Upstream's AppImage of Krita 6.0.3 running on Gnome+Wayland
 - Krita 1:5.3.3+dfsg-1 running on KDE (both Wayland and X11)

The problem reproduces with both a mouse and the Framework stylus.

REPRODUCTION STEPS:

 1. Launch Krita
 2. Create a new image
 3. Click or tap on the canvas --> the program crashes

FWIW, the issue also reproduces if I select a brush before clicking on the
canvas.

I was able to run krita under gdb and collect a backtrace. I've
attached it to this bug report.

I realized I hadn't checked for config related problems. When I
renamed kritarc, Krita worked the next time I ran it! So something in
that config was bad. I've confirmed on my trixie machine that it has
the same effect there -- krita crashes on startup if I use
kritarc-broken as my config.

I've attached the broken config, and the working config that was
created after re-running Krita. There are a lot of diffs, but maybe
this will help someone track the problem down.
