Dear Maintainer,

I'm using multiple Debian machines over the years and I am mainly
installing those Debian systems via debian-.*-amd64-netinst.iso image
with plain text Debian Installer and I'm using guided partitioning.

I used Bookworm, Trixie and I am testing Forky. Over the years apt
update, full-upgrade or unattended-upgrades lead to disk out of
space on /boot even though old kernels are removed after a while,
but current space seems just too tight for mutli years distribution
upgrades (and not clear reinstall). For me distribuation upgrades are
just easier (Bookworm > Trixie > Forky). I can fix those problems
with /boot running out of disk space, but I would prefer to avoid
them and have just a little more space.

# df -hl /boot/ /boot/efi/
Filesystem      Size  Used Avail Use% Mounted on
/dev/nvme0n1p2  456M  270M  162M  63% /boot
/dev/nvme0n1p1  511M   26M  486M   6% /boot/efi

Current size seems approx 500MB, but I would like to ask for bump
to 1GB in the upcoming Debian Forky.

Control: reassign -1 partman-auto

Since trixie, minimum size for /boot is 768MB and maximum size is 1GB,
reached if available disk space is at least approximately 25GB.

Could you try with a daily build from
<https://cdimage.debian.org/cdimage/daily-builds/daily/arch-latest/amd64/iso-cd/>

With guided partitioning, it depends on the size of the harddrive, of course, how much space is dedicated to /boot, BTW.
