Gdstk (GDSII Tool Kit) creates, reads and manipulates GDSII and

OASIS files, the standard interchange formats for integrated

circuit and photonic mask layouts. It provides boolean operations

on polygons, polygon offsetting, path generation and cell

references, with the geometry engine written in C++ and exposed

as a Python module.

Gdstk is by the author of Gdspy which is already in Debian,
and is its designated successor (upstream no longer develops

gdspy). It is also a direct dependency of the Tiny Tapeout open

silicon shuttle tooling.

All build dependencies are already available in Debian.
