I intend to orphan the font-v package. The font-v package used to be
a dependency to src:gftools, but it is no longer the case and likely
no longer useful.

The package description is:
  font-v is an open source font version string library and executable
  for reading, reporting, modifying, and writing OpenType name table
  ID 5 records and head table fontRevision records in *.otf and *.ttf
  fonts.

  This package provides the font-v executable tool.
