Dear Maintainer,

After upgrading lightdm to 1.33.0-1 session unlocking fails using
light-locker (1.8.0-3+b1) on my system.
I’ve tried switching the greeter to slick-greeter (2.2.5-1) from my default
choice lightdm-gtk-greeter (2.0.9-1) but the problem persists and seems to
be independent of the used greeter.

Downgrading lightdm to 1.32.0-7+b1 resolves the issue.

I'm trying to attach a debug log of light-locker ("light-locker --debug" /
light_locker_debug.log)
This is manually locking the session at 11:29:03, some useless typing on my
keyboard at 11:30:xx and finally switching to a VT and unlocking the
session with "loginctl unlock-session 2".

I’m not sure if this should be reported against lightdm or light-locker
(choosing lightdm as it was upgraded recently).
Please reassign as appropriate.

At this point I think we'll likely just remove light-locker. We've moved to
xfce4-screensaver, light-locker isn't maintained anymore.

I'm wondering what you mean by "fails", but here, the screens remain
black, so it is impossible to unlock.

This is a bug in lightdm 1.33.0 that has been fixed in version 1.33.1,
light-locker still works fine. It's small and reliable, so there's no
reason to remove it.
