Dear mentors,

I am looking for a sponsor for my package "hwatch".

 * Package name     : hwatch
   Version          : 0.4.2-3
   Upstream contact : blacknon <blacknon@orebibou.com>
 * URL              : https://github.com/blacknon/hwatch
 * License          : MIT
 * Vcs              : https://github.com/blacknon/hwatch.git
   Section          : utils

The source builds the following binary package:

  hwatch - modern alternative to the watch command with history and diff views

hwatch is already in Debian. This upload replaces the unmaintained
rust-ansi-term build dependency with rust-nu-ansi-term.

The current version is scheduled for autoremoval from testing on
2026-09-10 because it build-depends on rust-ansi-term, which has the
RC bug #1142926.

To access further information about this package, please visit:

https://mentors.debian.net/package/hwatch/

Alternatively, the package can be downloaded with:

  dget -x https://mentors.debian.net/debian/pool/main/h/hwatch/hwatch_0.4.2-3.dsc

Changes since the last upload:

  * Replace the unmaintained rust-ansi-term build dependency with
    rust-nu-ansi-term.

Regards,

blacknon

Thanks for the update.
I would have expected a new release instead of patching.
Are you planning on one?

Hi Bastian.

Yes, the code for the next version already exists, and it has been refactored to avoid using `rust-ansi-term` itself.
However, I am currently in the process of applying to add it to the Fedora package manager; since this would result in a version mismatch, I have temporarily halted the release.
