#1144321 in-kernel r8169 supports my NIC but it is not working properly

The default in-kernel r8169 driver is not stable for my NIC. I had to
install r8168-dkms and disable EEE on my switch to solve the
instability issue.
After some hours using r8169 I could see that my switch could not
detect link but ethtool output was OK for the link. After a reboot the
issue disappeared for a while.
