after installing libteem-dev
I checked that libteem.so.1.12.0 is installed in /usr/lib

I then created a simple CMakeLists.txt with the content:

cmake_minimum_required(3.20)
find_package(Teem REQUIRED)

which fails upon configure with the following error:

It seems a symbolic link to /usr/lib is missing.

We believe that the bug you reported is fixed in the latest version of
teem, which is due to be installed in the Debian FTP archive.
