minor because it's not much of an actual problem, just a curiosity.

The watch file in the prjxray package currently generates the version
number

    0.1+git3356.gc9f02d85+~db20211214.g0a0adde

when run standalone, so that is the version number seen in DDPO.

When run from a checkout of the package, with remotes configured for all of
upstream packages (so these can be reused by uscan, instead of requiring a
fresh clone), instead I get

    0.1+git3356.gc9f02d85+~db20211214.g0a0added

because now the short references are one character longer.

That is only slightly annoying, as DDPO claims the package is ahead of
upstream and Audit finds that the package does not match what it would
generate, but it has not real implications -- any update would be reflected
in the commit count/date instead of the reference.

It might become more of a problem if the reference of the first component
changed in length, because that might actually affect sort order.
