  For the ThinkBook 14 G8+ IPH model, an "Unable to read odvp4115" error occurs;
  the upstream has accepted the patch to fix this issue.

Thanks for reporting this issue.
As the upstream already had accepted the patch for dealing with that issue, the bug will be fixed on next release,
Then when the upstream release the next version I'll be preparing it for debian.
