I upgraded libjs-jquery-ui to 1.14.2+dfsg-1 and the cacti UI stopped
working.

The error in the javascript console includes "buttonset is not a
function". jQuery UI 1.14 dropped support for buttonset (it has been
replaced with controlgroup).

Backwards compatibility can be restored by setting `jQuery.uiBackCompat`
to `true`, or it might be simpler to pull just the layout.js and main.js
file patches changes from https://github.com/Cacti/cacti/pull/7082

We believe that the bug you reported is fixed in the latest version of
cacti, which is due to be installed in the Debian FTP archive.

A summary of the changes between this version and the previous one is
