After installing Debian 13.6 from the KDE live image with the Calamares installer the lock screen appears and asks for a password for the "Debian live user".

sorry, for whatever reason I didn't receive your email so my answer comes a little bit too late.

It does—but of course Calamares should not finish the installation with the lock screen, but a screen which shows a message such as "Installation complete, you can safely reboot the system now".

This should be fixed since it confuses people. They may not even aware of the credentials and think the installation has failed.
