Please note that this is also affected by #1041017. Also, it cannot be
licensed under GPL-2 because it includes font data from FreeSerif from a
2009 version, which is GPL-3+ licensed.

Khaled Hosny (one of the upstream authors) filed a bug against
LibreOffice[1], writing:

The last versions of these fonts were prepared by me, over a decade
ago, when I was still believing these are FOSS fonts, but I’m no longer
sure about their legal status. They disappeared entirely from KACST
website where they were once hosted, and attempts to get in contact
with anyone who knows anything about them failed. They appear to be
clones of other non-free fonts, so the whole thing is shady.

The fonts have since been removed from LibreOffice[2]. Filing as serious
given the questionable licensing.
