I'd like to package exfetch, a shell extensible fetching program.

I read this description and the upstream README, and I still can't
tell what a "shell fetching program" does. What kind of stuff does it

Why add another *fetch to Debian?

Hi,

In my opinion, to provide the choice.

I understand, that adding an another *fetch package to Debian, will not make it more accessible to people or easy to use. But, then I think, it is true for every theme/customization package to some extent. We can not add them, and most things will not be affected for most people, but if we do add them, then for the tiny percentage of people that use those packages, things will become little bit easier. And, for the people who don't even know about the package's existence, having it in Debian, makes it more possible for it to be discovered.

It's not like fastfetch or hyfetch lack anything that exfetch is trying to fulfill, other than its simplicity maybe. Still, having it will give people more choice which is the whole point of customization packages like this.

I know this is a rather opinionated thing for me to say, and I also understand what you mean. It's just that I don't have any strong reasons for Debian to add exfetch, other than, that I want it to.
