Hi!

While rebuilding the python related packages against the Python 3.15rc2
version we found that python-pyvips fails to build from source [1].

The error is: E: pybuild pybuild:485: install: plugin pyproject failed
with: exit code=1: mv
/build/reproducible-path/python-pyvips-3.1.1/debian/tmp//usr/lib/
reproducible-path/python-pyvips-3.1.1/debian/tmp//usr/lib/python3.15/dist-packages/\_libvips.$(python3.15

cannot stat
'/build/reproducible-path/python-pyvips-3.1.1/debian/tmp//usr/lib/python3.15/dist-packages/_libvips.abi3.so':
No such file or directory

To fix the problem, I simply avoided tweaking the .abi3 file, and used
it as is.

I've applied the fix in the sandbox [2] to verify that it builds
successfully, please consider applying the patch to support the upcoming
3.15 version.

Setting the severity to important for now. Once Python 3.15 is released,
it will be added to python3-defaults and this bug will become release
critical.
