Dear Debian ninja-build package maintainer,

I noticed that the binary package ninja-build is not providing the
importable python "ninja" module. This module, and especially the
ninja_syntax file, is needed by several projects as an importable
module, including the src:nanoemoji project that I am working on.

I wonder if you could introduce a new python3-ninja package for
this purpose. This is similar to https://bugs.debian.org/943540
but in fact one step forward so that other Debian software may
utilize it.

Please let me know if you need packaging assistance, and I can
provide a patch for that if you find that needed.
