The toolchain provides source execution, type checking, tests, package resolution and application builds. I intend to package the command-line toolchain for Debian and am seeking packaging collaborators and an upload sponsor. The proposed source package name is normlang to avoid the existing, unrelated norm source package. The upstream command is norm. The MPL-2.0 licensing commit and source snapshot are available at: https://github.com/normlanguage/Norm/commit/c57e3074e2c584335476be5e60013d5fdb6b5475 https://github.com/normlanguage/Norm/archive/c57e3074e2c584335476be5e60013d5fdb6b5475.tar.gz The existing v0.23.0 release predates that licensing commit. The proposed package will use a source revision containing LICENSE and LICENSING.md. Packaging work is at the initial stage. Upstream currently builds with Java 25 and Gradle and resolves Java dependencies including Truffle 25.1.3. Dependency availability and source buildability need to be established. The build also downloads reachability metadata; an offline source-build path must be completed before archive submission. No Debian source package or successful Debian archive build is claimed by this ITP.
