Hi,
After upgrading from linux-image-6.1.0-51-amd64 to
linux-image-6.1.0-53-amd64 on my Dell OptiPlex 755 (with Analog Devices ADI
1984 audio chip), the audio power saving mode is automatically turning off
the power to my speakers through the audio jack whenever no sound is
playing.

This issue was not present in the 6.1.0-51 version. I can fix it manually
by setting "options snd_hda_intel power_save=0", but it should be disabled
by default for this hardware profile, as it causes annoying pops and audio
cutting.

Hi,

As requested, here is the exact hardware identity (PCI ID) of the audio
controller from my Dell OptiPlex 755:

00:1b.0 Audio device: Intel Corporation 82801I (ICH9 Family) HD Audio
Controller [8086:293e] (rev 02)

I hope this output helps you implement the appropriate hardware blacklist
or power-saving quirk in future kernel releases.

Thank you for your help and time!

Best regards
