 crengine-ng is a library for rendering e-book documents. It supports fb2,
 fb3, epub (without DRM), rtf, doc, docx, odt, htm, Markdown, chm, pdb,
 mobi (without DRM), txt, tcr and prc, with CSS styling, hyphenation
 dictionaries, and text rendering through FreeType, HarfBuzz and FriBidi.

 This is a fork of the crengine library that Debian already ships as part
 of src:coolreader. The fork lives in its own upstream repository and
 releases much faster. coolreader bundles the engine and its Qt frontend
 in one source package, so it can neither ship the wxWidgets frontend nor
 offer the engine as a shared library to other programs. Packaging the
 engine separately makes both frontends possible and gives the library a
 usable public API.

 The GUI frontends using this library are packaged separately: crqt-ng
 (Qt 6) and crwx-ng (wxWidgets 3.2).

 The upstream tarball is repacked (+ds) to drop the non-source files that
 are already excluded from coolreader: test documents and binary resources
 under thirdparty/chmlib and thirdparty/antiword.
