Dear Maintainer,
The compose-examples autopkgtest is heading for the same timeout on armhf that #1130563 fixed for i386.
On ci.debian.net armhf still passes, but only just: 7194s in testing (2026-07-21) and 8106s in unstable (2026-07-30), against the 10000s test timeout. The same version takes 211-553s on the other architectures.
On Ubuntu's armhf autopkgtest testbeds (2 vCPUs) it crosses the limit: every run of 0.4.1+ds-7 is killed at 10000s partway through the quality 3 renders, for example: https://autopkgtest.ubuntu.com/results/autopkgtest-stonking/stonking/armhf/j/jsurf-alggeo/20260916_001819_dcaeb@/log.gz
In that run qualities 0 and 1 finish after about 1500s, quality 3 starts at about 2500s, and it is still running when the test is killed. The other two tests pass.
The patch below applies the existing onlylowqualities option to armhf as well as i386. With it, compose-examples on armhf completes in about 25 minutes on the Ubuntu testbeds.
Thanks for the i386 fix, it made this one easy.
