Severity: important Dear Maintainer, I am experiencing an authentication
error when waking my laptop from suspend or after closing the laptop lid on
Debian 13 (Trixie). Steps to reproduce: 1. Close the laptop lid to trigger
system suspend. 2. Open the lid to wake the laptop. 3. The lock screen
appears, but typing the correct password results in an "Authentication
error" beneath the password field. Expected behavior: Typing the correct
password should successfully log me back into my session. Actual behavior:
I am permanently locked out with an "Authentication error" message and have
to force a reboot or manually unlock via a TTY console using loginctl.
