GDB fails to build from source on i386

The testsuite fails on i386:
FAIL: gdb.base/break.exp: test_break_user_call: hit breakpoint on called function
FAIL: gdb.base/break.exp: test_break_user_call: backtrace while in called function
FAIL: gdb.base/break.exp: test_break_user_call: finish from called function
FAIL: gdb.base/break-main-file-remove-fail.exp: cmdline: get result of munmap call
FAIL: gdb.base/break-main-file-remove-fail.exp: file: get result of munmap call
FAIL: gdb.base/break-probes.exp: call (int) foo(23)

Therefore package fails. This issue still needs to be investigated, but
I am openining this report to prevent package from entering testing.

We believe that the bug you reported is fixed in the latest version of
gdb, which is due to be installed in the Debian FTP archive.

A summary of the changes between this version and the previous one is
attached.
