Wazuh is a free and open-source platform for threat prevention, detection, and response, capable of protecting workloads across on-premises, virtualized, containerized, and cloud-based environments.

Wazuh Agent, a key component in the Wazuh solution, is deployed on monitored systems to collect data, which is then sent to the Wazuh Server for analysis.

Currently, there is already a (Debian) version of the Wazuh Agent distributed via an APT repository managed by the upstream. However, I still think Wazuh users can benefit from being able to install an agent from their distribution's archives, without having to add the vendor's repository on all managed machines.

I will maintain the package. Also, there are still some things to clarify with and request from the upstream before packaging.
