Hello again!

When I install sawfish on Trixie, I get:

Setting up sawfish (1:1.11.90-1.2+b1) ...
update-alternatives: using /usr/bin/sawfish to provide /usr/bin/x-window-manager (x-window-manager) in auto mode
ERROR: sawfish is broken - called emacs-package-install as a new-style add-on, but has no compat file.
Install sawfish for emacs

... but it seems to be happily installed.
I see similar when removing the package.
I see similar on another machine running Buster, where I'm doing the reportbug dance.
In 2019, I saw similar on Stretch.
I think it's reproducible and old.
It'd be nice if it didn't SHOUT something that looks important but perhaps isn't.
No biggie but thought I should mention it, having failed to find any solution on the interwebs.
