   * What led up to the situation?

Installing 7.2.6 (or 7.2.8 from sid) to a running testing system provokes kernel Oops in conntrack.
Tested with both flash-kernel which was patched to work around 7.2 changing module path and dracut.
7.1.13 runs correctly.
