 This library provides the definitions for the Container Runtime
 Interface (CRI), the plugin API that lets the kubelet use a wide range
 of container runtimes without being recompiled. CRI is expressed as a
 Protocol Buffers and gRPC API.

 It is Kubernetes-centric and intended for kubelet to container runtime
 interactions and node-level troubleshooting tools such as crictl, rather
 than as a general-purpose container runtime API.

 == Why a new package name ==

 This library is already in Debian as golang-github-kubernetes-cri-api,
 but that name does not match the source's Go import path (k8s.io/cri-api)
 nor the convention used by the rest of the Kubernetes staging libraries
 in Debian, which are named after their k8s.io import path (for example
 golang-k8s-api, golang-k8s-apimachinery, golang-k8s-client-go).

 As part of updating the Kubernetes stack to 0.36.4, we are renaming the
 package from golang-github-kubernetes-cri-api to golang-k8s-cri-api to
 follow that k8s.io/* naming convention and keep the whole set consistent.
 The new source builds the golang-k8s-cri-api-dev binary, which provides
 and replaces golang-github-kubernetes-cri-api-dev; the old binary will be
 turned into a transitional package (or dropped after the reverse
 dependencies migrate). This is a rename and version bump of an existing
 library, not a new piece of software.
