I'm getting repeated notifications about power events where my (mouse)
battery dropped to -1% (which it didn't). This is really annoying.

Could you backport/cherry-pick the fix from
https://invent.kde.org/plasma/powerdevil/-/merge_requests/677 ?

We believe that the bug you reported is fixed in the latest version of
powerdevil, which is due to be installed in the Debian FTP archive.
