Hi,

After the upgrade of openjfx from major version 11 to 21, the package is no
more buildable on riscv64.
This is ANAIS, ROM, ROP.

Thus, could you please remove the binary packages openjfx and libopenjfx-jni
from unstable?

For the report: this request for removal has nothing to do with #1149633 (asking for removal on s390x), hence a different bug.

Thanks a lot,

Hello,

What is the actual reason that OpenJFX is no longer supported on riscv64?
Does it require native codegen support in Java which riscv64 doesn't have?

Adrian

Thanks for asking; the issues I met were with Assembler. There are some
.asm files in the source and I ran into issues when compiling them.
Sadly I was not able to fix this.

Have a good day,

Hi Pierre,

Did you report that problem upstream? If there is native RISC-V code, I would
assume it's still supported upstream and they would be interested in fixing it.

I am in the progress of doing so, yes! I try to gather some more
elements to try to be useful for upstream... I hope this will help indeed.

All the best,
