When twm is started while a ~/.twmrc file exists (e.g. an empty one),
it hangs on startup: one just gets an empty screen with a mouse pointer;
the mouse buttons do not have any effect.

The only thing that can be done is killing twm, either from a virtual
Linux console or via ssh.
