Hi Jonas!

I've found out that uwsgi is broken with what's in the subject of this
bug. I've opened a pull request upstream:
https://github.com/unbit/uwsgi/pull/2781

Since I need this fix to land in Debian to fix OpenStack Glance and the
server backup functionality, I am on my way to open MR on Salsa to do
this. I'll do this as a follow-up, so I can reference the Debian bug
in the MR. I intend to fix both Trixie and Unstable.

Cheers,

Thomas Goirand (zigo)

Hi,

It looks like gitlab interface changed or something, but I can't find
the "Create MR" button anymore.

I have however created 2 branches in my own namespace:

https://salsa.debian.org/zigo/uwsgi/-/tree/fix-chunked-encoding-unstable
https://salsa.debian.org/zigo/uwsgi/-/tree/fix-chunked-encoding-trixie

You may pull the top commit on top of it.

The important bit being this patch:

https://salsa.debian.org/zigo/uwsgi/-/blob/fix-chunked-encoding-unstable/debian/patches/2050_Fix_Transfer-Encoding_chunked_brokenness_over_TLS.patch?ref_type=heads

Would you let me prepare and upload the fix for Trixie?

Cheers,

Thomas Goirand (zigo)

Hi,

It's disabled for uwsgi.

Yes go on, can also do that but would need sponsorship.

FYI, I have prepared the update in Stable, and opened the bug with the
Stable release team:

https://bugs.debian.org/1150018

However, this also needs to reach Unstable.
Can someone upload the fix to Unstable, or allow me to upload as an NMU?

Cheers,

Thomas Goirand (zigo)

Hi,

Awaiting sponsorship on mentors.d.o
https://mentors.debian.net/package/uwsgi/

Please confirm you are able to sponsor or if I need to file a RFS.

(I'm a bit alone in the team right now and do not have a regular sponsor)

Thanks,

Alex
