 This project contains the general-purpose data-binding functionality and
 tree-model for Jackson Data Processor. It builds on Streaming API (stream
 parser/generator) package, and uses Jackson Annotations for
 configuration.

 While the original use case for Jackson was JSON data-binding, it can now
 be used to read content encoded in other data formats as well, as long as
 parser and generator implementations exist.

 This package contains Jackson 3 (Java package tools.jackson.databind),
 which includes the java.time support. It can be installed together with
 Jackson 2 (libjackson2-databind-java).

- Why is this package useful? Jackson 3 is a new major version that
  upstream maintains next to Jackson 2, with new Maven groups and Java
  packages (tools.jackson.*), so it is a separate source package. Its
  first user is scaladoc, the Scala 3 documentation tool.
- Names: source jackson3-databind, binary libjackson3-databind-java, jar
  jackson3-databind.jar. It builds on jackson3-core and uses the Jackson 2
  annotations (libjackson2-annotations-java 2.21), as upstream does.
