Dear mentors, I am looking for a sponsor for my package "golang-github-brunoscheufler-aws-ecs-metadata-go": * Package name : golang-github-brunoscheufler-aws-ecs-metadata-go Version : 0.0~git20221221.67e37ae-1 Upstream contact : Bruno Scheufler * URL : https://github.com/BrunoScheufler/aws-ecs-metadata-go * License : Expat * Vcs : https://salsa.debian.org/go-team/packages/golang-github-brunoscheufler-aws-ecs-metadata-go Section : golang It builds one binary package, golang-github-brunoscheufler-aws-ecs-metadata-go-dev, and closes the ITP https://bugs.debian.org/1140162. The package is maintained in the Debian Go Packaging Team and is ready in git: git clone https://salsa.debian.org/go-team/packages/golang-github-brunoscheufler-aws-ecs-metadata-go.git The salsa-ci pipeline passes, and sbuild in a clean unstable chroot gives Status: successful, with lintian down to package-has-long-file-name. It is a transitive dependency of go.opentelemetry.io/auto and the last package missing for the opentelemetry-auto ITP, https://bugs.debian.org/1136684. Thanks, Juan
The git tree changed after I filed this, same version. debian/control now build depends on dh-go instead of dh-sequence-golang, and debian/rules loads the sequence with "dh $@ --with=golang", so the package is built the way the rest of the opentelemetry family is being migrated. It also carries the lintian override for missing-build-dependency-for-dh-addon, which cannot be satisfied because dh-go conflicts with dh-golang. Commit 8d4912b on debian/sid. sbuild is still successful, 2 of 2 tests pass and lintian is clean. Juan
