  Programming Lang: JavaScript
Description : Standalone editor component of VS Code

The core of the Monaco editor: the editor engine that VS Code's src/vs tree
is shaken down to, without the workbench or the language workers.

Upstream publishes it only as a compiled npm package, so there is no source
tarball to watch. The source is a subtree of microsoft/vscode, at the commit
that upstream records in monaco-editor-core's own npm metadata; the source
package is repacked from that commit (hence the +ds) and carries no
translations, which a second binary package built from the same source will
 provide.

This is part of the dependency work for the Zotero desktop client
 (ITP: #1125955).
