Dear Maintainer,
I ran into an error while trying to run `barman verify-backup`
as user `barman`. BARMAN uses `pg_verifybackup` matching the
particular PostgreSQL version. However, it didn't find any
$ barman verify-backup example 20261008T010002
Verifying backup '20261008T010002' on server ['example']
Calling pg_verifybackup
ERROR: pg_verifybackup not found
$ which pg_verifybackup
$ echo $?
1
Now, BARMAN works fine, because, for instance
$ which pg_receivewal
/usr/bin/pg_receivewal
$ ls -l /usr/bin/pg_receivewal
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 37 Jul 16 04:08 /usr/bin/pg_receivewal ->
../share/postgresql-common/pg_wrapper
$ which pg_basebackup
/usr/bin/pg_basebackup
$ ls -l /usr/bin/pg_basebackup
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 37 Jul 16 04:08 /usr/bin/pg_basebackup ->
../share/postgresql-common/pg_wrapper
I went ahead and
# cd /usr/bin/
ln -s ../share/postgresql-common/pg_wrapper pg_verifybackup
fixing the issue
$ which pg_verifybackup
/usr/bin/pg_verifybackup
$ barman verify-backup example 20261008T010002
Verifying backup '20261008T010002' on server ['example']

backup successfully verified
Since this package is actually built from `postgresql-common` source,
I believe adding
usr/share/postgresql-common/pg_wrapper usr/bin/pg_verifybackup
to `debian/postgresql-client-common.links` will fix this bug.
I am aware I'm reporting the package on the PGDG version of the
package, but the vanilla Debian package also has it. Being the same
maintainer, I trust this bug will be fixed for PGDG packages too :)
