About the archive rebuild: The build was made on virtual machines from AWS,
using sbuild and a reduced chroot with only build-essential packages.

If you cannot reproduce the bug please contact me privately, as I
am willing to provide ssh access to a virtual machine where the bug is
fully reproducible.

If this is really a bug in one of the build-depends, please use
reassign and add an affects on src:golang-golang-x-tools, so that this is still
visible in the BTS web page for this package.

The cause is golang-1.27 1.27.2-1, which added V5 to internal/pkgbits: the
compiler now writes export data that the vendored internal/pkgbits in 0.49.0
cannot read. Every failure in the log is that one error. Upstream fixed it in
v0.50.0.

0.52.0+ds builds successfully here, with five tests that upstream adds or
renames added to the existing skip list in debian/rules. Merge request:

The debian/ part of it is attached, in case that is easier to apply than the
branch. The twenty quilt patches apply unchanged.
