Dear Maintainer, it appeared the maxima-sage fails to run at start on an uptodate Sid environment. The command line $ maxima-sage gives ==========8><-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ;;; Loading #P"/usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/ecl-24.5.10/sb-bsd-sockets.fas" ;;; Loading #P"/usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/ecl-24.5.10/sockets.fas" ;;; Warning: Maxima is unable to set up the help system. Hello, actually I think that my previous analysis is wrong. The file maxima-index-html.lisp is indeed missing, but maxima-sage seems to bypass this first error to rich an other one in some Python script. Below might be the relevant part in the `build log`. [...] latex -interaction batchmode sagetex.dtx This is pdfTeX, Version 3.141592653-2.6-1.40.29 (TeX Live 2026/Debian) (preloaded format=latex) restricted \write18 enabled. entering extended mode sage sagetex.sagetex.sage INFO:matplotlib.font_manager:generated new fontManager ;;; Warning: Maxima is unable to set up the help system. Thanks for the report, it's already fixed in the latest version. Best, Tobias
