During a rebuild of all packages in unstable, this package failed to build.

About the archive rebuild: The build was made on virtual machines from AWS,
using sbuild and a reduced chroot with only build-essential packages.

If you cannot reproduce the bug please contact me privately, as I
am willing to provide ssh access to a virtual machine where the bug is
fully reproducible.

If this is really a bug in one of the build-depends, please use
reassign and add an affects on src:golang-honnef-go-tools, so that this is still
visible in the BTS web page for this package.

This FTBFS is not a bug in honnef.

The Go compiler stores type information in what it calls export data, and that
format is versioned. golang-1.27 2:1.27.2-1 started writing version 5. honnef's
tests read that data through golang-golang-x-tools, and 0.49.0 only understands
version 4, so they fail.

golang-golang-x-tools 1:0.52.0+ds-1 understands version 5 and is now in
unstable. With it, golang-honnef-go-tools 2026.2.1-2 builds unchanged in a clean
chroot: Status successful.
