  This module filters untrusted HTML to help prevent cross-site scripting
  (XSS) attacks. It uses a configurable list of allowed tags and attributes,
  checks attribute values, and filters inline CSS. Disallowed tags can be
  escaped or removed, optionally together with their contents.

  Custom callbacks can control how tags and attributes are handled.

This library is a dependancy of Home Assistant, the Python smart home platform.
I plan to maintain it as part of the Home Assistant team.
