Dear Maintainer,

Just a heads up.

A new version of the font is available:

https://github.com/googlefonts/noto-emoji/releases/tag/v2026-09-24-unicode18_0

Version 2.057 with Unicode 18.0 support.

The tag is named v2026-09-24-unicode18_0 which I think does not match the
expected pattern in debian/watch.

Yes, the new git tag is so dramatically different that I am asking
upstream about it:
https://github.com/googlefonts/noto-emoji/issues/574

Unfortunately, this issue has big consequences so it would be good to
get a response. Or I could eventually work around it with a hacked
lower version number.
