the shotwell maintainers released the first GTK4 version of shotwell:

Shotwell 33 goes from GTK3 to GTK4 for its UI as the most notable change. Shotwell 33 also adds support for opening URIs within the viewer, reworked printing, addressing various memory leaks and potential crashes, and a variety of other minor enhancements throughout. There are also many bug fixes with Shotwell 33.
