Dear maintainer,
TestQueueBatchTimerFlush fails on the s390x autopkgtest and blocks migration
of 0.152.0-1 to testing:
https://ci.debian.net/packages/g/golang-opentelemetry-collector/testing/s390x/76870253/
The test asserts a timer-driven flush within a fixed 110ms wall-clock budget.
On the slow s390x testbed the flush lands later, so the test sees one flush
instead of two. The seven other release arches pass. This is a timing
assumption in the test, not a defect in the collector.
The fix replaces the fixed time.Sleep windows with assert.Never and
assert.Eventually, so the test waits for the flush instead of sampling once.
It is test-only and changes no batching behaviour. I am forwarding it upstream
and will follow up with the pull request link.
Best regards,
Juan
