Description: Arbitrary-precision linear algebra using MPLAPACK for Octave

This package provides a GNU Octave interface to MPLAPACK for
real arbitrary-precision numerical linear algebra using its MPFR
backend. The upstream Octave package is named mplapack-interop.

It allows Octave users to perform numerical linear algebra
computations requiring higher precision than conventional
double-precision arithmetic.

It depends on the MPLAPACK MPFR libraries, which I am also
packaging for Debian, together with their gmpfrxx-mkii dependency.

I intend to maintain this package within the Debian Octave Group.
Rafael Laboissiere has reviewed the packaging and contributed
improvements.

I will need a sponsor for uploading the package to Debian.
