Dear Maintainer,

when solving a problem with SMTPUTF8 support in mail system, I ended up with
a setup, that does not work properly becouse there is a known bug in
dovecot, fixed in upstream, but not included in current debian package.

If there is

mail_utf8_extensions = yes

configuration in dovecot, required for full support when integrated as LMTP
with postfix (or maybe other SMTP servers as well), there is a problem,
that several clients (mainly Thunderbird tested) are not able to save
outgoing mail to a requested folder. The error reported on dovecot imapd
side is:

BAD Error in IMAP command APPEND: Missing ')'

This is solved by upstream via:

which gets accepted in 2.4.2. Would it be possible to add this patch to a
queue to be applied in next package version?

The patchset depends on additional changes that aren't in the trixie
packages, so I'll need to investigate further.

Actually the issue was trivial to resolve, and I have built packages.
