Description : Vietnamese input method for fcitx5

Ngó Sen is a Vietnamese input method for fcitx5. Its main mode writes
letters directly into the application without a preedit underline and
replaces the text before the cursor to apply tone marks, so address-bar
and search suggestions update with each key. A preedit mode is also
available. It includes a Qt settings window, macros and spelling checks.

Debian already ships fcitx5-bamboo and fcitx5-unikey, which type with a
preedit underline. Ngó Sen differs in its typing mode without preedit.

I am the upstream maintainer and would like to maintain the package
within the Debian Input Method Team. I am not a Debian Developer and
will need a sponsor.

The typing core is the Rust crate bamboo-core, which is not yet in
Debian. Its current release accepts the phf version in sid, and I plan
to package it through the Debian Rust team first.

Hello,

I am the upstream maintainer of Ngó Sen, a Vietnamese input method for
fcitx5 (https://github.com/ngosen/ngosen), and filed ITP #1151867.

I would like to maintain fcitx5-ngosen under the Debian Input Method
Team on salsa, and I am looking for a sponsor. My salsa account is
<nguyenphi>.

One Rust dependency is missing from Debian: the bamboo-core crate. Its
current release accepts the phf version in sid, and I plan to package
it through the Rust team.

Any advice on the team's packaging conventions is welcome.

Thanks,
Nguyen Phi
