Description : non-intrusive terminal AI assistant with session-scoped context

ask is a lightweight, zero-dependency command-line query tool designed
specifically for system administrators and infrastructure engineers who
want succinct AI guidance without disrupting their terminal workflow.

Unlike interactive TUI-based AI assistants, ask acts as a native Unix filter:
it executes directly from standard command pipelines, streams concise answers
directly to standard output, and exits immediately.

Conversational context is automatically preserved and scoped to the parent
shell process ID (PPID). Follow-up questions in the same terminal window
retain knowledge of prior turns without cross-contaminating other shell tabs
or tmux panes. Long conversations are automatically compacted to maintain
responsiveness and avoid token window exhaustion.

This package has zero external third-party dependencies, compiling strictlywith the Go standard library.
