Recently, using uscan against GitHub repositories has been generating failures that look like: uscan warn: In watchfile debian/watch, reading webpage https://github.com/fedora-python/tox-current-env/tags failed: 500 Header line too long (limit is 8192) It's possible to tell LWP to just use the longer header data and then it works. I'm not sure where the right place for this configuration is - I shoved it directly into /usr/bin/uscan in order to test this. /--- use LWP::UserAgent; use LWP::Protocol::http; push(@LWP::Protocol::http::EXTRA_SOCK_OPTS, MaxLineLength => 0); ---/ Hope that helps as a starting point. thanks Stuart
Control: forcemerge -1 1151876 Control: found -1 2.26.13 Hi, I am merging this bug report with #1151876, which is about the same thing, but reported against 2.26.13. not 'master' (although there is a master branch), that is why I did not find it. When comitting to 'main' branch keep in mind that changelog will be build by dch when maintainers decide its time for a release. I would use a message with a closes: #1151915 line and word 'uscan' in commit title. (I am not uscan maintaner, just an occasional contributor.) Regards,
