Dear mentors,
I am looking for a sponsor for my package "libqoriq-rcw":
* Package name : libqoriq-rcw
Version : 1.4.0-1
Upstream contact : Vincent Jardin <vjardin@free.fr>
* URL : https://github.com/vjardin/libqoriq-rcw
* License : BSD-3-Clause
* Vcs : https://salsa.debian.org/vjardin/libqoriq-rcw
Section : libs
The source builds the following binary packages:
libqoriq-rcw1 - QorIQ Reset Configuration Word compiler library (runtime)
libqoriq-rcw-dev - QorIQ Reset Configuration Word compiler library (development files)
libqoriq-rcw compiles the Reset Configuration Word (RCW) of NXP QorIQ /
Layerscape CPUs into the PBL images flashed on the boot medium,
decompiles such images back to source, and checks an image likely the way
the SoC's Service Processor BootROM does before running it.
It is designed for the PBI format 2's CPUs (LS1028A, LS1088A, LS2088A, LX2160A).
ITP: #1152047. I am the upstream author.
For more information about this package, see:

Alternatively, you can download with:
dget -x https://mentors.debian.net/debian/pool/main/libq/libqoriq-rcw/libqoriq-rcw_1.4.0-1.dsc
Changes for the initial release:
libqoriq-rcw (1.4.0-1) unstable; urgency=medium
.
* Initial release. (Closes: #1152047)
Packaging notes:
* The packaging is maintained with git-buildpackage on salsa
(debian/latest, upstream/latest, pristine-tar), with debhelper
compat 14 and a version 5 watch file (use GitHub template). Salsa CI
is green for the uploaded commit 69fa343, all jobs: build (amd64,
i386, source, arch-all, arch-any), autopkgtest, piuparts, blhc,
debrebuild, lintian and test-uscan, see:
https://salsa.debian.org/vjardin/libqoriq-rcw/-/pipelines/1198662
* libqoriq-rcw1 ships a symbols file. The shared library
exports the functions of the public header only, through a version
script, a build-time test checks that the two stay in sync.
* The upstream test suites run during the build (nocheck profile
supported). The autopkgtest builds a program against the installed
libqoriq-rcw-dev.
* lintian from unstable (the salsa CI job) reports no tag at all,
pedantic included. I did note that the lintian of mentors.debian.net
is older and still reports missing-debian-watch-file-standard (W),
recommended-field Priority (W) and
package-uses-experimental-debhelper-compat-version (P): it
predates version 5 watch files, the optional-by-default Priority
field and the stable debhelper compat 14.
* qoriq-rcw, the command-line tool built on this library (ITP
#1152049, blocked by #1152047), will follow once libqoriq-rcw is
in the archive. Ideally the same sponsor would look at both.
I am not subscribed to the debian-mentors list, please keep Cc me.
Thank you,
Vincent
