What led up to the situation? installed Debian.

What exactly did you do (or not do) that was effective (or ineffective)? Run
normal upgrades 'apt full-upgrade' which has been ineffective so far.

What was the outcome of this action? I have applications that won't launch,
they fail with the error: libEGL warning: DRI3 error: Could not get DRI3 device
libEGL warning: Ensure your X server supports DRI3 to get accelerated rendering

What outcome did you expect instead? Launching applications with no issues.

If it matters I'm using bridged Nvidiaa GeForce GTX 1080 GPUs.
