The YubiHSM Manager is an interactive CLI with guided menus for YubiHSM 2 management. It supersedes the previous yubihsm-setup tool with a more user-friendly interface and expanded functionality. It is also part of the YubiHSM SDK.

YubiHSM Manger is mainly used to manage asymmetric and symmetric keys, authentication keys and wrap keys as well as setting up the YubiHSM 2 for specific usecases. It also has support for scripting functionality.

- It is already packaged as a .deb in the YubiHSM2 SDK: https://developers.yubico.com/YubiHSM2/Releases/
- Other YubiHSM tools are already packaged for Debian, so it is natural to package this too.
- yubihsm-shell is comparable, but much more low-level
- Debian Security Tools <team+pkg-security@tracker.debian.org> seems to be the maintainer team for the other Yubico packages, so it'd be nice if they adopted this.
- yubihsm-manager was released in April 2026, so it is fairly new compared to the other tools
